"Hello! My name is Kira O'Brien and I started at Lou Lou as a sales associate back in 2018, after moving back to my hometown of New Haven from New Hampshire. Later that year I became the assistant manager and in November 2022 I became the manager! It's been so informative getting to embody every role in the store. I absolutely love doing the merchandising and letting my creative side come out. I want to create a beautiful and easy to shop environment for our customers. Seeing someone's face light up when they look at our front window or a new display really makes my day. Working at a small business means I get to create bonds with our returning customers and I absolutely love that!

My favorite brand would have to be F.Y.B. They are a female founded company based in Brooklyn that contributes to Asian American Pacific Islander Advocacy through ongoing donations to Apex for Youth. Their jewelry is such beautiful quality and as a gold girl myself, I love that it's 18k gold plated sterling silver and hypoallergenic!
