Lou Lou boutiques was established in 2004 when it was a single brick-and-mortar location on the quaint cobblestone streets of Middleburg, Virginia. For over 20 years, we have increased our footprint to include locations in five different states. Family owned, Tara and Ben Wegdam still oversee the day-to-day operations of our boutiques.
Tara is from Nashville, Tennessee and has spent her whole life in and around retail, following in her parents’ retail footsteps. Ben was born and raised in the Netherlands and ended up in retail directly after graduating from college in Rotterdam.
We are big on entertainment. For loulou that includes a fantastic product selection to choose from, in a friendly and inviting environment with fun and knowledgeable store associates. And that is why we do not sell online. We cannot communicate the compassion and entertainment of an in store experience through a computer.
While we also stock fashionable apparel and home goods, we are truly an accessories boutique at our core, full of vibrant and exciting finds that our savvy shoppers can’t find anywhere else! We are passionate about boutique retailing and our community, family, and locally sourced products are what we value. Come check us out !

Creme de la Creme
The Crème de la Crème brand encompasses five brick and mortar shops along with an online boutique inspired by French and Italian living with a touch of Southern hospitality. This mix brings a curated collection of unique and intriguing finds. Our home and flagship store is located in the heart of Hunt Country in the village of Middleburg, Virginia. Our four other locations are part of the eclectic and locally owned shops of downtown Frederick, Maryland, downtown Leesburg, Virginia, historic downtown Alexandria, Virginia, and in Richmond, Virginia in historic Carytown Court.

We take pride in our collection of clothing, accessories, and gifts, primarily geared toward men and women. You will find a mix of well know national fashion brands, home accents, books & gifts. All the products we sell have something you can talk about. Whether it is American made, unique or edgy.
We’re not afraid to crack a joke or be a little naughty and we like to keep things interesting with events like Live Music, Writers’ Talks, and Paint a Pint Nights. We might even open up a beer once in a while.
